At the Summer School of Graphic Matters 2025 I joined the masterclass by Britt Möricke and Studio Saber. After doing a lot of quick typographical exercises from Britt and Saber, I choose the following sketches to take to the next level. These sketches are a result of an exercise were we had to made letters without using existing letters. I really loved this exercise and the forms I made so I chose to take a few of my favorites and take them to a next level.
I find it interesting when a work makes you look a bit longer and leaves room for imagination and interpretation, and I love to bring this in my own work as well. In this form, I noticed that both myself and the other participants saw many different letters and numbers by rotating the shape. At first, I only saw the number 4, but gradually, by rotating the shape and adding more details, I saw more and more letters, such as T, H and M.
