The design practice of Indi Theeuwes places a strong focus on color and materials. She enjoys working experimentally, challenging herself through the exploration of different materials and techniques while researching how colors interact with each other and with space. By blending analog and digital methods, she enables graphic design to engage dynamically with its environment.
About me
I grew up in Breda, the Netherlands, with a love for drawing that started early and only grew stronger during secondary school. Wanting to turn my passion into a profession, I studied Graphic Design at the Graphic Lyceum in Utrecht and combined this with Illustration. Along the way, I discovered a fascination for new media and techniques, which led me to the New Design course at the St. Joost art academy in Breda. There, I realized how much working with color energizes me, a passion that culminated in my graduation project, Moving Moods. Today, I thrive on tackling diverse assignments in ever-changing environments, keeping my creativity sharp and my inspiration flowing.
