Event Open Call Algemene Beschouwingen
Algemene Beschouwingen is a platform created in response to the 2021 parliamentary elections and focuses on designing alternative election posters. It aims to actively raise awareness of the elections with unusual, experimental and alternative imagery.
For this design, I wanted to focus on climate change and how I believe we currently treating the planet we live on, depleting its resources as if without consequences—though we already face them. The directness of De Designpolitie's posters combined with the simplicity of their illustrations really appealed to me and inspired me to approach this design in that way.
